What is Creator Camp?

Creator Camp is an education technology company that offers tech and creative camps for kids ages 5-7 and 8-13, covering topics like animation, filmmaking, YouTube content creation, entrepreneurship, and game design. Our mission is to transform their relationship with technology from passive consumption to active creation, showing kids that a tablet isn’t a toy, but a powerful tool. Our camps provide a supportive environment for kids to explore and develop creative and technical skills.

Where are the camp locations and dates?

Our camps are now in new cities! Creator Camp operates across multiple locations, offering a variety of themes and schedules. Check specific dates and locations on our Locations Page.

When is drop-off and pick-up?

Drop-off is at 8:30 AM, and pick-up is at 3:30 PM. Extended care is available at select locations for an additional fee, extending pick-up to 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM depending on the location. If a child needs to be picked up early or dropped off late please contact the Camp Manager at the location to coordinate.

Are there age and experience requirements?

Our camps are designed for children ages 5-7 and 8-13, with no prior experience required! Whether a child is a complete beginner or already has some knowledge in the topic, our curriculum is designed to teach the basics of each camp while also allowing more seasoned Creators an opportunity to learn new tips and tricks.

Can I switch camps after registration?

Yes! You can easily switch camps at any time through our Parent Portal—there’s no fee to change your camp dates, location, or type. However, please note you cannot switch a camp that has already started.

Enrollment and Payments

How do I register?

Registration is quick and easy!

Click “See Locations” in the top right.

Select the Creator Camp location nearest to you.

Browse the available camps, choose the ones you’d like, and add them to your cart.

Proceed to checkout and complete your payment.

After checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your child’s information in the Parent Portal.

Can my 7-year-old sign up for the 8+ year old camps?

We generally stick closely to our age ranges, not because of technical ability, but because of the social and collaborative dynamics of camp.

That said, if your child turns 8 at any point during the summer, they are typically allowed to enroll in 8+ camps, even while they are 7.

If starting in our Juniors camp isn’t the right fit, you can always speak with the Camp Manager early in the week about a possible move. Final group placement is always up to the Camp Manager on site. If a camper is clearly outpacing their peers and the Camp Manager feels it’s socially and developmentally appropriate, they may be moved into an older camp upon request.

And if it ultimately isn’t the right fit, we offer a full refund after the first day of camp.

What is the Summer Pass?

Do I need to still sign up for camps even if I have the Summer Pass?

Yes, we ask that you still register for camp as if you were signing up for it.

Are discounts available?

Yes, please call us at (512) 753-5878 to receive a discount code if the following pertains to you!
– Sibling Discount: 15% off per sibling per camp.
– Teacher & Military Discount: 15% off.

What are the payment options?

Payment is required upfront and we have various forms to do so, with financing options available at checkout.

Why don't you charge sales tax and have any checkout fees?

As an educational organization, we do not collect sales tax from our customers. We also don’t believe you’ll like us very much if we have hidden fees, and we’d rather you like us.

Camp Details

What types of camps do you offer?

Are there device requirements?

Yes, please see our iPad compatibility page to check if your iPad is compatible. iPads are required for all camps; however, we do have rentals available. If you rent through Creator Camp, we will provide it to the student on the day of camp and it will remain at camp for the week. The student will still get to upload the projects they create for viewing at home via CreatorTube once camp completes.

What take-home items do creators receive?

Creators leave camp with some amazing keepsakes to celebrate their hard work and creativity! They’ll go home with a custom Creator Camp hat they’ve decorated themselves, their completed projects, and an Oscar trophy (for 3-day camps). Additionally, they’ll receive a personalized card and note from their instructor, along with fun magnets and stickers to remember their camp experience!

Is lunch included?

No, please bring a packed lunch from home or talk to your camp manager if you would like to order food to the location.

Policies and Safety

Refund Policy

Full Refund Eligibility:

First Camp Guarantee: If it is a child’s first camp and they are not satisfied after the first day, a full refund is available if requested before the start of the second day.

Advance Cancellation: Full refunds are available for cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the camp’s start date.

Partial Refund (50%): For cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the camp start date, a partial refund of 50% is granted. A free camp swap option is also available.

No Refund: No refunds or swaps will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the camp start date.

Right to Withdraw Policy

Right of Withdrawal

Customers who purchase a Creator Camp program online have the right to withdraw from their purchase and receive a full refund at any time up until 7 days before the scheduled camp start date.

This right applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, provided the withdrawal request is made at least 7 days before the first day of the camp.

How to Exercise Your Right to Withdraw

To withdraw from your purchase, please contact us at least 7 days before the camp start date by emailing support@creatorcamp.org and include:

• The parent/guardian name
• The camper’s name
• The camp location and dates
• Your order number (if available)

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

How does Creator Camp ensure health and safety?

We follow strict safety guidelines, including frequent cleaning, hand sanitizer stations, and staff trained to address health issues promptly.

What if my child has special needs?

We are committed to accessibility and will work to accommodate learning or mobility needs. Contact us at (512) 753-5878 or support@creatorcamp.org before camp to discuss any requirements.

Are kids on screens all day?

No, we balance screen time with hands-on activities and group games. We also include a 30-minute recess and a 60-minute lunch break each day, where tablets and screens aren’t used.

What are the behavior expectations?

We aim to create a positive environment. Disruptive behavior, including bullying, is not tolerated, and parents will be notified if issues arise.

What if I pick up my child late?

At Creator Camp, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. Please make every effort to pick up your child promptly at the end of camp.

Standard Pickup Time: 3:30 PM

Late Pickup Grace Period: 15 minutes (until 3:45 PM)

Extended Care Pickup Time (if purchased): 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM depending on location

If a student is not picked up within the designated time and no extended care was purchased, a late fee of $5 will be charged for every 5 minutes after 3:45 PM. For students enrolled in extended care, a late fee of $5 per 5 minutes will apply after the extended care end time.

We understand that occasional delays happen! If you’re running late, please give us a call so we can best support your camper while they wait
